Get to know me.
It’s crazy to think that I’ve used the internet to build my brand for over 10years now. I still remember the day I got 70 likes on my Facebook page (in 2012), I was so excited!
Since then, there’s more competition and in order to rise above the noise, and be profitable online you have to have some things in place.
But I’ve found the beauty of doing business online to be that you can be whoever you want to be, and create content that serves, connects with others and fulfils your life’s purpose.
I’ve reinvented myself a dozen times as a photographer, mentor, network marketer, and content creator.
And in this blog, I share my tools, processes and soul-care practices with you because I know I’m not the only one searching.
What’s your background?
After studying and getting a degree in journalism and public relations, I picked up a camera and started my portrait and wedding photography business for 7 years. It became my training ground for all things online branding and business tools.
What camera do you use?
I have a Nikon D800 which I mostly use with a 50mm 1.4 lens, and a Sony a5100. I use both to create my social media content but you can read more about my cameras here.
I want to become a photographer, what camera should I buy?
You can go here for more information if you are figuring out how to start your photography career.
Where do you live?
Until 3years ago, I lived in Botswana, which’s my home country. But my husband and I relocated our family to BC, Canada and we live here now.
What’s your best advice for someone starting out online?
There are many ways to create income streams online, so there’s no ‘right’ way for everyone. Listen to your heart, trust yourself & if you pray, seek God for guidance. Find a way to be yourself & genuinely serve others.
